We're DNA Power Solutions — a father-and-son electrical business based in Corby, working across Northamptonshire on general electrical jobs and the renewable energy side. NAPIT-registered for the electrical work, MCS-certified for renewables, RECC-registered and TrustMark-endorsed. Two generations on the tools, one phone number, no being passed around.
What we cover
Most of what we do falls into three buckets:
- Everyday electrical work: extra sockets and lighting, fault finding, EICRs, smoke alarm installs, Ring camera installs, kitchen and bathroom electrics, outside lights and garden sockets.
- Bigger jobs: full and partial rewires, lighting rewires, consumer unit and fusebox upgrades, earthing and bonding, loft conversion wiring.
- Renewables: solar panel (PV) installation, battery storage systems, EV charger installation. All done under MCS, RECC and TrustMark, so the install qualifies for grants, smart export tariffs and proper warranty backing.
Why we do both
A lot of customers come to us for the renewable side first — solar panels, batteries or an EV charger — because doing those properly needs MCS certification, RECC membership and TrustMark endorsement, and not many local sparkies hold all three. But once you've used us for a solar install, the same team can come back and put an extra socket in the garage or run a light to the summer house. One set of qualifications. One team. The lot.
